The original Hannover Institute colony was obtained by the Institute for Biomedical Research (IBM) and received by Harlan by acquisition of RCC, formerly Biological Research Laboratories Limited (BRL), Füllinsforf, Switzerland. Harlan became Envigo in 2015.
